My Background
My Training
I am a fully qualified and registered psychotherapist based in London, and I work in accordance with the BACP ethical framework.
I have trained in psychoanalytic, person-centred, attachment-based and existential approaches. Alongside this, I have a deep understanding and interest in trauma-informed work and this is incorporated into my work with all clients.
My Experience
I have worked across the NHS, charitable organisations, and private practice settings, supporting people with a wide range of experiences and backgrounds.
I have particular experience working with anxiety, depression, trauma, eating disorders, addiction, and relational difficulties. This may include difficulties in relationships with others, with the self, or coping strategies such as the use of substances, sex, work, food, or relationships to manage emotional pain. Some clients have experienced traumatic or challenging events in childhood or adulthood, while others come to therapy without a clear single cause but with a sense that something feels difficult or stuck.
I also work with people experiencing difficult life events such as bereavement and work-related difficulties. I have extensive experience supporting neurodivergent clients, including those with ADHD and Autism Spectrum Condition.
Qualifications and Registration
I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Regent’s University London, and I am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).
Prior to training in psychotherapy, I completed an MSc in Psychology at Birkbeck, University of London, as well as a BA(Hons) in Philosophy at the University of Essex.
