My Practice

I believe that the quality of the therapeutic relationship is one of the most important factors in supporting meaningful change and exploration in therapy. For this reason, I aim to offer a warm and grounded environment where clients can feel safe, understood and that they matter.

There are many reasons why a person may wish to start therapy, and each person’s process will be unique. I see therapy as a space in which you can share parts of you and your life experiences that are too painful or difficult to share elsewhere. Together, we explore and make sense of your feelings and life experiences in an environment that is non-judgemental, supportive and honest.

I am trained in psychoanalytic, person-centred and existential therapies, with a particular emphasis on existential therapy. This approach considers how your past, present and future shape your experience today, as well as your capacity to make choices that feel authentic to you. The ways we have lived, and the world and relationships we have encountered can deeply influence our present difficulties. Therapy can offer a way of understanding and working through these experiences, while also considering what might be possible going forward.

Alongside this, I am trained in a trauma-informed approach to mental health, which underpins my practice. I am also LGBTQIA+ affirming and anti-discriminatory practice in all forms.
