About Me

My Training

I am a fully qualified and registered psychotherapist working in London, England.

I have been trained in a number of different therapeutic approaches, including psychoanalytic, person-centred, attachment and existential perspectives. I also have a deep understanding and passion for trauma-informed work and this is incorporated into the therapy I offer. In addition, I have used therapeutic approaches such as Dialectical Behavioural Therapy to help people with managing intense emotions.

My Experience

I have worked in a number of settings across charities, the NHS and the private sector. In those settings I have worked with people from all walks of life with many different experiences, difficulties and sufferings.

I have particular experience working with people struggling with addiction, eating disorders, complex trauma and personality disorder diagnoses. You may struggle with your relationship with yourself and others, or use substances, relationships, sex, work or food to cope with the struggles of living. You may have experienced traumatic or difficult life events in your family of origin or outside of it. If any of these feel like they apply to you, then we may be a good therapeutic fit.

I also work with with a range of other difficulties including depression, anxiety, OCD and bereavement and have extensive experience working with neurodivergence including ADHD and Autism Spectrum Condition.

My Approach

The way I work aims to avoid creating a therapy that feels clinical or pathologising. Instead, I seek to understand you as a person, and through this offer a therapeutic relationship that can support you in finding further clarity, understanding and self-compassion in your life.

I am currently offering sessions online only, however this may change in the future.

Qualifications and Registration

I hold a Postgraduate Diploma in Counselling and Psychotherapy from Regent’s University London, and I am a Registered Member of the British Association for Counselling and Psychotherapy (BACP).

Prior to training in psychotherapy, I completed an MSc in Psychology at Birkbeck, University of London, as well as a BA(Hons) in Philosophy at the University of Essex.
